EarTech, a state-of-the art hearing aid facility, is a family owned and operated business. Mark Krywko, with 28 years in the hearing aid industry is originally from Waterford, Michigan, moving to Bradenton, Florida in 1984. He is Nationally Board Certified in hearing instrument science, a member of the Manatee Chamber of Commerce, and an accredited audioprosthologist. He formed Eartech in 1988 as a manufacturer of custom hearing aids, so he could offer high quality hearings at manufacturer direct prices.
His son Jason was raised in the business as he started out helping around the office at the age of eight years old. He is a board certified hearing specialist and a member of the Kiwanis Club of Bradenton.
Mark's wife Marja, Vice President of EarTech runs the day-to-day business operation.
The Krywkos pride themselves on the ability to test and build hearing aids to their own specifications which is the key to their success. Their own technicians, with nearly 40 years combined experience in the business, build and repair the hearing aids on site. The company is FDA regulated and is ISO compliant.
The facility recently underwent a quarter of a million dollar expansion which included an Audiology department with two sound proof rooms, staffed by Kristin DesErmia, Au.D. Dr. DesErmia graduated with her masters degree in audiology in 1998 and earned her doctorate in 2007.
